Episode 152: Unusual Superhero Vehicles (1 of 2) - The Spider-Mobile

For the next two episodes, we’ll look at a couple of unusual vehicles driven by famous superheroes.  We skip over the Batmobile, the Invisible Jet, and other well-known vehicles and go straight to the bizarre, starting with the wall-crawler’s ill-fated car, the Spider-Mobile.

I feel like the “Spidey” license plate is redundant. And also probably not an actual NY license plate.

Episode 128: She-Hulk - A Deep Dive (Episode 2)

Continuing the Deep Dive into the She-Hulk show, I get a much needed female perspective in the form of Brooke Heyn along with the returning Andy Wilson, both from the Kiss Your Franchise Goodbye podcast.  In addition to breaking down the show, we veer into other subjects both serious and frivolous, including issues of mental control and consent to comics as case law.

As I noted, pretty darn close to the show, with one key reversal.

Episode 38: Who is She-Hulk (Jennifer Walters)?

Marvel/Disney just announced that She-Hulk will be getting her own show on Disney+.  But, who is She-Hulk, and what would such a show be about?  Kurt dives into the distaff counterpart of Bruce Banner, and what makes her so compelling a character in her own right.

Coming…soon? No premiere date has been given, or even casting at this point.

Jennifer also used to be blond/redhead. She’s raven-haired these days, even when not She-Hulk.

It was the 80s. Big hair was a thing.

If they don’t recreate this at some point during the show, I’m going to be very disappointed.
